For many of us, the end of summer and the beginning of the school year is a great time to reset and get organized. If that sounds like you, why not take a few minutes to make sure that if and when you need Amaze, we are able to help you as quickly and efficiently as possible?
Amaze is available to you at the touch of a button. We can provide care, refill your prescriptions, find you the best and least expensive place to get an x-ray, find you a specialist who takes your insurance and won’t make you wait months for an appointment, and so much more. We’re here to help you navigate our broken healthcare system, and we can do that best if we can access your important information as quickly as you can reach us.
It only takes a few minutes to make sure everything is up-to-date. The effort will be well worth it. Here’s what to do:
1. First, make sure you have the latest version of our app. Because we’re always improving our technology, we publish updates as often as weekly. Do you have the most up-to-date version? Is your phone set to automatically update Amaze?
2. Check to see that your profile is complete and current. You can get to the profile section through the three-bar menu on the upper right-hand side of the contact page. Try to include as much information as possible, especially:
3. The next most important sections are the “Health Summary” and the “Insurance Dashboard.” You can get to those by touching their respective icons on the bottom of the app.
Make sure you list your current medications, and list important facts about your medical history. The great thing about filling out these sections of the app is that you will always have the information handy when you need it (and we will too).
The preventive care section is a place where you can record the dates of your recent health screenings, so we can help you determine when you are due. For adults, you don’t need to know the dates of your childhood vaccines for the immunization history section. Simply record your adult immunizations, like flu shots and COVID, shingles, and hepatitis vaccinations. Again, not only does this information help us help you, but it is also a fantastic way to always keep the info handy.
4. Finally, make sure we have your most recent insurance information. Our app makes it really easy to upload pictures of the front and back of your insurance card.
Taking a few minutes to update your information today can save valuable time when you need care tomorrow.
